Lighthouse Dishcloth
This I made recently, quick and easy summer knitting. The pattern is from http://www.knittingknonsense.com/lighthousecloth.html
Rhonda has several nice patterns for dishcloths to knit, some are free and some are to purchase. I also have her new book from Leisure Arts "Spa and Bath Sets to Knit", very nice book!!!!
another set finished!
I started this during the winter months and just seamed it up and added the ribbons thru the eyelet rows, also little small ribbon applique flowers I found at Wal-Mart, those I sewed on with needle and thread. This was made with Red Heart TLC, now discontinued.
The pattern is a fun one from American School of Needlework First Steps in Knitting designs by Mary Thomas, it's also a top down.
I am working on another set only I will remove the eyelet rows and just do a plain garter stitch.

and another set!
my friend's daughter just gave birth to a little girl, I whipped this one up in a few days. It's Suzanne's Matinee jacket from the http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Babysweaters/ group
I added the collar and used Red Heart Baby Soft and size 6 needles.
finished sweater set
this one I made using a an old Paton's pattern, it's an easy top down cardigan, you start with the collar. The pattern is from Paton's book # 120 " Quickerknits by Beehive" a little book 6" w x 9.5" tall, it's the first pattern on page 3 called FIRST SIZE LAYETTE. The yarn I used was Bernat Baby Softee and size 5 needles. I have also done this holding 2 strands of baby yarn together and size 6 needles which results in a little bit thicker, warmer sweater. The pattern also has a designs for "panties" or soakers.
